Really, this online marketing stuff is play for me. I enjoy testing new ideas, analyzing the data, connecting the dots, thinking in systems, and riding the waves both big and small.
Here’s a little bit of my background…
In 2017, I helped two close friends launch a home cleaning business in Long Island.
They didn’t have time to consistently go door-knocking or cold calling to get things off the ground. They needed a reliable way to attract customers without running around.
I immediately knew what they needed for a running start:
Within a year, they grew to a reliable customer base, grossing $8k per month.
But running a business isn’t just about getting customers. Finding reliable employees was tough—especially for cleaning jobs. Managing customer expectations and staying competitive in the market were their own challenges as well.
That experience taught me two critical lessons:
1. The importance of systems that create efficiency.
Make it easy for customers to find you, hire you, and communicate with you repeatably.
2. An actionable strategy is key for both growth and stability.
In 2019, I helped my sister lay the foundation for her fashion brand, Modestwist.
She saw a gap in fast fashion—most major retailers weren’t offering affordable, high-quality modest clothing at the same speed and price as their other collections.
While she had the vision and sourcing connections, the technical details of building and marketing a brand were where I stepped in.
We needed:
Recognizing that we needed capital for a strong launch, we built a pitch deck and were selected as one of Alibaba’s Top 36 Global Startups. Traveling to Hong Kong to represent the brand was an incredible experience.
After speaking with investors and growing a list of 100+ l for the brand, I came up with an idea: why rely solely on investors?
We launched a teaching venture to help others source high-quality clothing from top vendors in Turkey and China. We sold vendor lists, ran consultations, and started building a YouTube channel, which quickly gained traction.
I learned some hard lessons during this time. The most valuable one being my ideas and strategies work. They are also worth protecting.
In 2021, I was brought in by Vera Labs, the first open platform enabling the financialization of NFTs, to support their coin launch (known as an IDO). The launch was a success, raising over $500k through Polkastarter.
Following the IDO, I developed and lead the Vera NFT Holiday Games promotional program, which allowed us to raise an additional $1 million.
This was a pivotal experience—the first campaign of this size I had ever launched.
I learned how to manage marketing operations at scale and create processes that could be delegated effectively.
I was responsible for delivering weekly shareholder updates on the token and campaign’s performance, which taught me the nuances of managing investor relations.
Additionally, I gained valuable insights into leveraging live events and AMAs to build both brand and community.
These lessons set the stage for even bigger opportunities.
Since 2022, I’ve shifted my focus to growing my own service based business, The Digital Advertising Team.
I’ve helped my clients achieve amazing results and closed over 6 figures in deals myself.
